Hi, I'm Kiya
Product Engineer
I build complete products — the interface people touch, the systems underneath, and the complexity hidden in between. From a streaming platform that meters payment by the second to a canvas tool that exports real React code, I care most about making hard systems feel simple.

Work

Arbor→
2026 · Live MVP · testnetPay-per-second streaming for independent cinema
Streaming subscriptions charge for time you never watch. Arbor sells prepaid viewing hours that only tick down while a film plays — filmmakers get paid per second watched, settled on-chain.
- React
- TypeScript
- Solidity
- Postgres
- Particle Network

Lazy Builder→
2026 · Working prototypeFigma-like canvas + Notion-like docs → real React code
Design tools and code live in separate worlds, and translating between them loses information. Lazy Builder links an infinite canvas to a rich-text editor and exports a runnable React + Vite project.
- React 19
- TypeScript
- Yjs CRDT
- TipTap
- WebSockets

Nutrify→
2026 · Functional ML pipelinePoint a camera at food, get calories, macros, and a verdict
Logging food by hand is why diet apps fail. Nutrify identifies a meal from a photo, estimates the portion, computes calories and macros, and says whether it fits your goal — cut, bulk, or maintain.
- Flutter
- FastAPI
- Python
- Multi-model ML

AILY→
2026 · Team project · architecture-focusedIntent-routed chatbot service for e-commerce
Most store questions are routine, but answering them still takes staff. AILY parses natural-language messages and routes them to one of eleven handlers — search, cart, checkout, tracking — automatically.

- FastAPI
- Java
- JavaFX
- SQL
Lab
Smaller things I've built — tools, bots, and experiments. Open a row for the story.
JustPush-Refactory
Deployment automation focused on making pushing code reliable and simple
Deployment tooling is UX design — the happy path has to be one action
- TypeScript
- Docker
Aily Telegram Bot
Containerized Telegram bot automation
Bots are conversational UIs — flow design matters more than the API calls
- Python
- Docker
PaxPatronage
Crowd-fundraising platform built LAMP-style from scratch
No framework — auth, campaigns, and payments modeled by hand
- PHP
- JavaScript
- CSS
Banker's Algorithm Visualizer
Interactive visualization of the OS deadlock-avoidance algorithm
An algorithm you can poke teaches faster than one you read
- JavaScript

Hydrostatic Pressure Prediction
ML regression modeling of a physical system
Physics gives you a ground truth most ML datasets never have
- Python
- Jupyter
Face Recognition
Classical face detection with Haar cascades, before deep learning
Classical CV still wins when you have one webcam and no GPU
- Python
- OpenCV
PKM Company Profile
Company-profile website build
Client-style work: the constraint is their content, not your stack

University team projects
2025 — 2026 · educationDeveloper
Team-built products across coursework: an NLP chatbot service and an ML nutrition app.
- AILY — intent-routed e-commerce chatbot (FastAPI NLP + JavaFX client)
- Nutrify — food-recognition ML pipeline in a Flutter app
- Python
- FastAPI
- Java
- Flutter
IoT smart lighting (freelance)
2025 · projectIoT Developer
Built a smart lighting automation system on ESP32, connected to Sinric Pro and controllable by voice through Google Assistant.
- Programmed ESP32 microcontrollers in C++ (Arduino framework) driving relay-switched lighting
- Integrated Sinric Pro for cloud connectivity and real-time device state sync
- Wired up Google Assistant so lights respond to hands-free voice commands
- ESP32
- C++
- Arduino

About

I'm Antonius Kiya Ananda Derron — Kiya (20) — a 5th-semester student and product engineer based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. I love building products end-to-end: interfaces, backends, data models, and the crucial parts in between that determine a product's success.
A core pattern in my work is hiding complexity. Arbor hides the blockchain behind a Google login. Lazy Builder hides the gap between design and code behind an interconnected canvas and editor. Nutrify hides nutrition calculations behind a camera. Complex systems, simple interfaces.
Beyond major projects, I build small tools — Telegram bots, automations, and minor utilities that quietly become a seamless part of someone's workflow. I am currently looking for product engineering roles where building complete products is the main focus.
